You probably won't need an exhaust fan for cooling in this setup, but if you don't have an exhaust fan you can't use a carbon filter, which means you won't have a great way to prevent smells from leaking outside your grow space. 

I've included a link for Ona Gel, which is incredibly effective at getting rid of smells in living spaces. It's probably good to have some around on hand just in case you have a smell emergency. In fact, it's what dispensaries use to control the smell of cannabis! However, Ona products don't just cover up smells, they permanently abolish odors. Because of that, Ona products can't be kept close to your plants or they will permanently alter the smell of your buds too! So it may be useful to prevent the smell of cannabis in your living room if guests come over, but it's not any sort of long-term solution by itself. Learn more about Ona gel.

This was using the Big Bang Auto strain. This was definitely an exceptional grow! The single plant produced 4.2 ounces under the GalaxyHydro LED grow light in exactly 3 months from seed to harvest!

The panel was kept 24" away for first 10 days, then 18-20" away from plants for the rest of the grow.
